Welcome to the Power Horse Stadium

With the beginning of July, the sports venue changes its name, having as ‘last name’ Juegos Mediterráneos Stadium

With the start of the month of July, which also opens the new 2022/23 season, the Stadium managed by UD Almería after the concession from the Almeria City Council, is renamed Power Horse Stadium, with the Juegos Mediterraneo Stadium as its ‘last name’. In this way the new name is Power Horse Stadium – Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos, which from August will host the return of the Rojiblancos to the highest tier of Spanish football.

On 6 May the new name was made official during an event held at the Stadium itself with the signing of the sponsorship agreement between UD Almería and the energy drink brand, an event in which the main Almeria-based authorities were present.

Salvatore Caizzone, CEO and member of the Shareholders Committee of Power Horse Group, and Club CEOMohamed El Assy signed the agreement for two years, although with the intention of giving it continuity in the near future. In fact, Power Horse, which is in more than 50 countries, is a leader in Africa and the Middle East, and with the alliance with the Almeria club, it seeks to expand the brand in the Spanish market, especially since the Club moved up to the top flight.
