UDA U19s 'A' won 2-0 over Marbella FC on final Matchday
The UDA U19s 'B' team were unable to play the season-ending match because their rivals bottom-team Atlético Melilla did not show up for the match
The two UD Almería Under-19s youth teams finished their season in the top tier this weekend. They have been performing brilliantly for some time now, achieving truly important goals, although in the current campaign, which just ended, inconsistencies have prevented them from doing so.
UD Almería Under-19s 'A' concluded the season with a 2-0 victory over Marbella CF, which leaves them in the upper-middle zone of the table.
The UD Almería Academy team, who had to change head coaches at the very beginning of the season, struggled during the first half of the season to try to get into contention for the Spanish Cup U19; they fought until the end, but were unsuccessful. Then, in the second half, with nothing left to fight for and contributing players to both the first team and the 'B' team, the performance was uneven.
As for UD Almería Under-19s 'B', the boys finished at the top of the table, although they couldn't aspire to promotion because the U19s 'A' team were in the top tier. This weekend, they closed out the season by hosting Atlético Melilla at the Francisco Pomedio Stadium in Huércal de Almería. The adversaries didn't show up, so the points will be awarded to the young Rojiblancos.
