A difficult set of games awaits!
In February, Real Oviedo and Elche CF will play at the UD Almería Stadium, while the UD Almería will visit Deportivo de La Coruña and Sporting de Gijón. Some very tough but winnable games there. The Indálicos are 2 points away from topping the LaLiga Hypermotion again
A tough-looking month of February awaits UD Almería in LaLiga Hypermotion although the following months (March, April, May) will not be a piece of cake either based on how tight the table is at the top in the race for promotion to the top flight of Spanish football. Some very tough but winnable games there.
The Rojiblancos are going to face two direct, very direct rivals at home, Real Oviedo and Elche CF, while they will have two tough-looking outings as they visit Deportivo de La Coruña and Sporting de Gijón. Four really demanding matches because if at home the Indálicos will have to deal with opponents of enormous potential who only think about earning automatic promotion, the trips are going to be made to two stadiums where fans make their voices heard far and wide and against teams that must also be careful with.
The first league appointment comes next Saturday when UD Almería host Real Oviedo for a 6pm kick-off. UD Almería now sit third with 43 points, while the Asturianos have placed themselves in the fifth position with 42 points, the same as fourth-placed Levante UD.
A couple of weeks later, current runners-up Elche CF, also with 43 points, will visit the UD Almería Stadium.
Direct rivals have to come down South and battle it out in matches that will be key in the race for promotion to Primera. Among them, later on, Racing de Santander, who have once again regained the top spot.
