Rubi: 'It's going to be a tough tie against very tough opponents'
The UD Almería head coach warns of the difficulties of this Wednesday's Spanish Cup second-round tie against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa at the Reino de León stadium
'We have a tough tie to win of we want to be able to move forward,' stated UD Almería head coach Rubi when looking ahead to this Wednesday's Spanish Cup second-round tie against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa at the Reino de Léon Stadium.
The Catalan argued that his team will have to take on 'very tough opponents.' And even though they belong to a lower division, 'they're breaking all the records in the third-tier Primera RFEF,' pointed out the Indálicos' head coach. Then he went on to explain: 'They're daring team, that like to have the ball, although they attack in different ways, they're important players with good football tactics and strategy created by their head coach.'
In Rubi's opinion, it is the most difficult Primera RFEF team we could play, but at the same time he stressed: 'It's also exciting because it's a Club with a history in Spanish football, which has a large natural grass stadium.'
'I'm going to give a lot of importance to being able to win in León. We're preparing the match exhaustively and with the aim of overcoming the tie,' he said.
After playing a league fixture last Saturday, Rubi does not believe that it will affect the players' physical, although he anticipated that some players who have got fewer minutes so far will have their opportunity in León.
