A week with full focus on improving tactical awareness

The UD Almeria first-team players and a pair of Academy youngsters were put through their paces during the third session.

UD Almería continue to have training sessions on the Anexo training ground within the international week.  They are making the most of this time to improve their tactical awareness to be able to bounce back in the championship after three consecutive Matchdays without winning.

In addition, this international break is a great opportunity for injured players Pozo and Diego Sousa to continue their road to full recovery. Gonzalo Melero, who was on the treatment table for three Match weeks, is getting match-fit. The Rojiblancos completed their third session of the week this Wednesday morning. Rubi was giving instructions to correct technical and tactical aspects.

UD Almería Academy youngsters Rachad and Marciano have joined the first-team training again. Samú Costa, Ramazani and Svidersky, who are away on international duty with Portugal U21, Belgium U21 and Slovakia U21, respectively, as well as injured Akieme and El Bilal Touré, who has already said goodbye to this season after undergoing surgery, were also absentees.

UD Almería are training again this Thursday and Friday at the Anexo ground in order to have the weekend free. From Monday, the squad will focus squarely on the visit to Celta de Vigo Sunday, 2 April (KO 2pm Spain Time).
