UD Almería take a break from LaLiga to turn their attention to the Spanish Cup, whose first tie will be played at 9pm this Wednesday at the fourth-tier side AD San Sebastián de los Reyes home. The Cup opponents are fighting to escape the drop in the Segunda RFEF.
The Rojiblancos have two training sessions to prepare for this Cup meeting. This Monday, the recovery session was held on the Anexo ground. This Tuesday afternoon and before travelling to Madrid, they will follow instructions in the Stadium to do more tactical drills.
Rubi, who usually counts on several UDA 'B' players in the first team with the likes of Bruno Iribarne, Paco Sanz, Gui Guedes and Rachad, has once again worked with Quintanilla, who was named in the squad list against SD Huesca last Sunday, as well as youngsters Lorenzo, Perovic and Safi. After the last football practice, the head coach will decide who will be included in the Copa del Rey squad list.
On another note, Baba is now doing ball work on the pitch as he continues to progress, while Lucas Robertone has just begun his recovery rehab after the shoulder operation he underwent at the beginning of October.
