Last training session and testing trip to Bilbao

UD Almería are having their last training session on Thursday before playing the match against SD Eibar at 7pm on Friday at the Ipurua Stadium. The Rojiblancos will train at 3pm at the UD Almería Stadium, then have lunch at the same venue and then head to the airport. They will travel on a charter flight to Bilbao at 6pm, where the UD Almería travelling squad will remain together until the time of travelling to Eibar by road. 

 

After 7 consecutive games without a win, ending with 4 draws in the last matches played, UD Almería will try to get back to winning ways to claim their place in the table because even though the top spot is 5 points away and the second, which also means automatic promotion, is only 4 away; the team is out of the play-offs zone with a disadvantage of 3 points, so the margin for error is decreasing. 

 

For this new match against rivals who have re-emerged with the change of head coach, UD Almería gaffer Rubi has Kaiky back after serving a one-match suspension, so the absences are the already known injured players, such as Chumi, Gui Guedes, Rachad and Baba.
