Spanish Cup mode on
The Rojiblancos have trained behind closed doors at the UD Almería Stadium and this Wednesday (10:30am) they are flying charter to León where they will face the Cultura y Deportiva Leonesa in the second-round tie of the tournament
UD Almería had one last training session before facing the Spanish Cup second-round that will see UD Almería taking on Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa at the Reino de León Stadium this Wednesday. To get into the round of 32 pot, the Indálicos will have to win the tie and with this objective in mind they have trained at the UD Almería Stadium.
The training session has been tactical with full focus on the Cup meeting after the workloads were distributed last Monday based on the minutes accumulated in the last game of the league. In fact, some footballers recovered and others performed more high-intensity drills. This Tuesday, preparation has been underway for the match against the Leoneses which, as Rubi anticipated in the press conference, will be very complicated and demanding due to the potential of the opponents, who are on the right track to returning to professional football.
The UD Almeria squad are meeting this Wednesday at the Stadium, and it will be the moment in which Rubi decides who will travel at 10:30am by charter flight to León city. Those who will not be selected will undergo training.
