UD Almería willing to bounce back in 'The Cathedral' of Spanish football

Babić is back and training with his team-mates before visiting San Mamés. The team is ready to solve their goalscoring woes in Bilbao.

UD Almería are back in LaLiga Santander action following last weekend's international break and yet again, they will do it away from home; this time visiting the San Mamés Stadium aka 'La Catedral' (The Cathedral) of Spanish football, where the Rojiblancos are willing to bounce back following the unwanted losses suffered on the previous Match weeks and their lack of box precision. This circumstance has condemned them to experience three defeats in a row to Real Valladolid CF, CA Osasuna and RCD Mallorca, after shining out at the start of the championship against Real Madrid CF, Elche CF and Sevilla FC.

The Indalicos' are keen to restore the good vibes and find a balance between their defensive strength and and lack of effectiveness in attack. As head coach Rubi has commented in the pre-Athletic presser, the players have been working hard on the offensive skills to improve their shooting, rebounding, passing and dribbling when completing their finishing and therefore, solve their goalscoring woes.

Ramazani, El Bilal Toure and Samú Costa were at their masterful best since the three of them have just scored international goals with their national teams (Belgium, Mali, Portugal), and this will give them a boost of confidence on the trip. Babić has performed the last training session with his peers before travelling on a charter flight to Bilbao at 10am this Friday.

Hosts Athletic Club de Bilbao are in Champions League positions in the table thanks to their imperious form as head coach Rubi has recognised and highlighted this week, but UD Almeria also have their tactics and strategy well studied so they are ready to play their tricks in order to bounce back in the top-tier LaLiga Santander.
