UD Almería will start the 2021/22 campaign away to FC Cartagena
The championship kicks off on the opening weekend of 13/14/15 August. Real Oviedo will be the first team to visit the ‘Mediterraneo’
UD Almería 2021/22 LaLiga SmartBank fixtures are in! The Rojiblancos’ campaign will begin away to FC Cartagena, however the specific date and kick off time is still to be confirmed. One thing is certain, the championship begins on the opening weekend of 13/14/15 August. UD Almeria will go on two league outings to neighbouring cities to begin with since most of the rivals are teams from Madrid and North Spain.
Real Oviedo will be the first side to visit the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium on Matchday 2. UD Almeria will take on newly promoted teams UD Ibiza, Burgos CF, Real Sociedad ‘B’ and SD Amorebieta over the upcoming 2021/22 season. The latter will be the next adversaries who will be hosting the Rojiblancos in the Basque Country.
Newly relegated outfits SD Eibar, SD Huesca and Real Valladolid CF all took a tumble from Primera Division this summer; UD Almería will have to travel up north once again in order to play SD Eibar on Matchday 10.
UD Almería will play two away games on the spin (Matchday 5 and Matchday 6) against SD Ponferradina and Madrid-based club AD Alcorcón.
CD Lugo will be the opposition on 19 December 2021 to close out the first half of the campaign, while the reverse fixtures begin on 2 January 2022 on home turf hosting FC Cartagena. LaLiga SmartBank championship comes to an end on 29 May 2022 with UD Almería paying CD Leganés a visit.
