UD Almería U19s A close out brilliant season
The UDA Academy products, who began a new stage this campaign after the scintillating performance in the past 2022/23 season, came 6th in the league with a tie
UD Almería Under-19s 'A' have closed out brilliantly the 2023/24 season, in which they had returned to the Division de Honor Juvenil, the highest national ranking of the tier. The lads were close to qualifying for the Spanish Cup U19 and they have finished sixth in the league, although the have been nipping at the heels of the two big Group IV youth sides in the competition, Sevilla FC U19s and Betis U19s. On the last MatchDay, the UDA Academy Rojiblancos shared the spoils with the Sevillistas, who have finished leaders without losing a single match.
It must be taken into account that UD Almería Under-19s 'A' kicked off this season under a staff renewal, including head coach Zeus Carmona. The base of the team from the previous 2022/23 campaign, who featured in such a spectacular term, made the leap to UD Almería 'B' in the Tercera RFEF tier.
Head coach Alberto Lasarte and many of the youth players he had in the youth side and who were crowned Spanish Cup U19 runners-up, are active currently playing for UD Almería 'B', who are going to fight to the death for the promotion to Segunda RFEF.
