UD Almería U19 will participate in the Al Abtal International Cup

The tournament promoted by the Ministry of Sports of Saudi Arabia brings together Spanish Academies with two sides of Saudi budding footballers

UD Almería Under-19s will participate in the Al Abtal International Cup, a tournament promoted by the Ministry of Sports of Saudi Arabia, which brings together two young promising teams from this country known as Saudi Future Falcons and various youth ranks from Spain. The youthful Rojiblancos will compete with a selection of under-19 footballers who play in the Academy.

The Rojiblancos hopefuls will make their debut against the Saudi Future Falcons ‘Green’ within Group D next Wednesday, 10 March (kick-off 12:00 p.m. GMT+1) at the Ciudad del Fútbol de las Rozas. In the same way, UD Almería U-19s will continue trying to forge a path to greatness competing against Saudi Future Falcons ‘White’ and Valencia CF. The matches are going to be take place every two weeks, however the date for the match between Almeria and Valencia has not been set yet.

The Al Abtal International Cup divides its tournament into four groups, having in each of them teams made up of players from Saudi Arabia. The participants from Spain are FC Barcelona, ​​UE Cornellà, Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Real Zaragoza, Atlético de Madrid, Rayo Majadahonda and the above-mentioned Valencia CF and UD Almería U-19s.
