UD Almería turn attention to in-form Atlético de Madrid
The Rojiblancos prepare themselves for Sunday's stern test at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium (kick-off 2pm Spanish Time/ Matchday 16). This Saturday, last training session before trip to Madrid
UD Almería have turned their attention to Sunday's match against Atlético de Madrid at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium (kick-off 2pm Spanish Time/ Matchday 16).
After exiting the Copa del Rey tournament and being off work last Thursday, the squad members have trained on the Anexo pitch to fully focus on the tactics and game strategy ahead of Sunday's stern test in Madrid. UD Almería are visiting in-form Atlético de Madrid, who have won all their home games so far. They are one of the team in the LaLiga EA Sports that have scored the most goals and have conceded the least.
The UD Almeria players will go all out for a win as they really need a morale booster to spring a big surprise against the team led by Simeone. In relation to last Wednesday's Spanish Cup tie, head coach Gaizka Garitano has central defender César Montes, who was booked in the Copa del Rey, available for selection while Melero and Embarba continue to work their way back to full fitness.
The Rojiblancos will have one last training session this Saturday morning at the Power Horse Stadium before travelling by charter flight to Madrid city at 3:30pm.
