
UD Almería train at the ‘Mediterraneao’ to prepare for game against FC Cartagena
The Rojiblancos trained behind closed doors this Saturday morning and they will do the same this Sunday evening
UD Almeria are now completing their preparations for the match versus FC Cartagena on Monday, 16 August at the Cartagonova Stadium (Matchday 1/ kick-off 10pm Spain Time). It will be the opening LaLiga SmartBank fixture for the Rojiblancos, who trained behind closed doors this Saturday morning at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, where they will also meet again this Sunday evening for another tactical practice, since the UD Almeria travelling squad will be heading to Cartagena city on Monday morning.
Head coach Rubi has prepared a training session with full focus on tactical aspects to be put into practice in this imminent first league game. UD Almeria are eager to keep the good vibes of the pre-season when taking on the next rivals who beat us last season.
Centre-forward Juan Villar will miss out as he is injured. Midfielder Javi Robles and forward Raúl Caballero continue to train along with the UD Almeria first team.
