UD Almería to make floral offering to the Patroness of Almería
The Rojiblancos will dedicate promotion to the first division to the Virgen del Mar (Virgin of the Sea)
UD Almería will make a floral offering to the Patroness Saint of Almeria city, Virgen del Mar (Virgin of the Sea in English), this Friday (8:30pm CEST) to thank and offer her the recent promotion to the top tier of Spanish football.
A representation of the Club members will attend the ceremony with the LaLiga SmartBank champions trophy in order to place the bouquet of flowers in the chapel.
Last August, on the eve of the start of the 2021/22 season, a representation of UD Almería members also performed the traditional floral offering that is made every year at the beginning of the competition. Almost 10 months later, the team return to the church to visit the Patroness Saint of Almeria with the silver trophy.
