UD Almería are to find out their Spanish Cup rivals this Thursday. The Copa del Rey first round draw is taking place at the Ciudad del Fútbol located in Las Rozas, Madrid (4:30pm CET). The Rojiblancos will have to play a single-legged tie away from home against a team that competed in the Tercera Division last season and currently playing in Segunda Division RFEF after winning promotion.
The Copa del Rey first round is set for Wednesday, 1st December, although it could also be played either on Tuesday, 30th November or Thursday, 2nd December. Taking into account that the single-legged tie comes in-between LaLiga SmartBank official matches against SD Huesca and CD Leganés, both to be played on Saturday, it is expected that UD Almería will be kicking off their Spanish Cup action either on Tuesday, 30 November or Wednesday, 1st December.
