UD Almería support 'healthy habits' campaign promoted by the City Council
Daniel Carriço attended the presentation of this fresh initiative that will be developed in schools across Almería city
UD Almería support and collaborate in the 'Healthy Habits' campaign that the Almería City Council promotes through its Department of Sports and Agriculture to make the youngsters from Almeria aware of living a healthy life. Athletes from different clubs in Almería will not only give talks in twenty schools in order to raise awareness but also organise a healthy breakfast with different products from Almería.
During the presentation given by councillor of Sports and Agriculture Juanjo Segura, UD Almería player Daniel Carriço as well as representatives from Unicaja Voley, CB Almería, URA, La Salle, Stella Maris and pole vaulter Isidro Leyva were present.
The schools in which this pioneer initiative will be developed are the following: San Fernando, Europa, Sagrada Familia, Rafael Alberti, Nuestra Señora de los Milagros, Colonia Araceli, Stella Maris, Mar Mediterraneao, Francisco de Goya, Ferrer Guardia, Lope de Vega, Inés Relaño, San Indalecio, San Bernardo, Torremar, Virgen de la Chanca, Ginés Morata, Ave María, Padre Méndez and Virgen del Mar del Cabo de Gata. Almazara de Canjáyar, Caparrós Nature and Pan Hidalgo are the companies collaborating in this 'Healthy Habits' plan.
'In the talks that we'll give in each school, four elite athletes will explain how have managed to reach the top, focusing on three aspects: a healthy diet based on the natural products from Almería, getting enough rest and living life with a positive attitude' underlined Councilman Juanjo Segura.
