UD Almería have started training ahead of Friday’s fixture against Real Zaragoza at La Romareda Stadium (KO 9pm CET/ Matchday 30). The squad has four training sessions to prepare for this new league meeting, the first of which took place this Monday on the Anexo training ground.
Rubi worked with twenty-two footballers, including Almeria ‘B’ youngsters, goalkeeper Fuoli and central defender Aitor Puñal, while the injured Juanjo Nieto, Chumi, Robertone and Carriço were not on the pitch, the latter is waiting to get diagnostic tests done. The Portuguese had to leave the pitch through quadriceps pain in his right leg on the last Matchday during the game against CF Fuenlabrada. In addition, Makaridze, with the permission of the Club, did not participate in the practice. César de la Hoz, after completing his one-match ban, is once again available to the UD Almería head coach.

On Friday, the day of the match at La Romareda, the UD Almeria travelling squad will be flying charter to Zaragoza where they will meet opponents who have won their last two games and have only lost one game on the last seven Match weeks.
