UD Almería-SD Ponferradina will be the CASI match for its 75th Anniversary
The club and the agricultural cooperative will promote a series of initiatives during the encounter
UD Almería and CASI have reached a collaboration agreement on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the cooperative. In the launch event, which was attended by Miguel Vargas, president of the agricultural entity, and Mariano Blanco, general secretary of the UD Almería. Mariano Blanco stressed that the club wanted to ‘honour a business group that give employment to many people in Almeria and it is one of the most important tomato trading companies in Spain.
The member of the board of directors of the rojiblanco team has commented that ‘it is a pride for Almeria to be able to count on CASI’, also hoping that ‘the collaboration is productive and lasting in the future’. In this sense, Mariano Blanco has added: ‘We hope that this is a point of inflection to collaborate with more SMB in the province’.
For his behalf, Miguel Vargas, president of CASI, thanked UD Almería for ‘having had preference’ towards the cooperative. ‘We have been collaborating for a long time and wish to continue doing so. We would like to thank the club the opportunity to let all our partners join us on this special event’ .
