UD Almería prepare game plan against Real Madrid CF

The Rojiblancos are put through their paces at the Power Horse Stadium as they focus on the tactics that will be displayed on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

The UD Almería first team are now preparing their game plan in a bid to try to spring the big surprise on Sunday against second-placed Real Madrid CF for now at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The Rojiblancos are determined to keep up the high level of performance as against Girona FC last Sunday at the Power Horse Stadium and compete as they did it at the Cívitas Metropolitano against the Colchoneros and also at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium against Barça.

The squad, under the instructions of head coach Gaizka Garitano have been put through their paces at the Power Horse Stadium this Thursday to practise the tactics and recreate different match situations before this weekend's trip.

UD Almería have clearly improved defensively and keeping another clean sheet will be key against the Merengues. In addition, they will also look for greater effectiveness in attack since they did not take on their chances. Last Sunday, against Girona FC, this aspect prevented the Indálicos from not grabbing the three points.

Mr Garitano's side still has two more training sessions ahead; the one this Friday and the one on Saturday, the latter before flying charter to Madrid in the evening.
