UD Almería looking to get back strength at Juegos Mediterráneos
The Rojiblancos are eager to secure home points as from this Monday's game against SD Ponferradina
UD Almería are looking to get back their strength at the Juegos Mediterráneos Stadium and secure the 12 remaining points on home turf, starting with the 3 points that will be up for grabs on Monday against SD Ponferradina (kick-off 9pm CEST/ broadcast live on Gol TV).
The Rojiblancos have finished their last two performances at the Mediterraneo with a draw against CD Lugo and a defeat to Girona FC, although they certainly merited more than one point out of the 6 at stake in both games. Now, they have the firm intention of getting back to winning ways at home and taking a new step forward in their aspirations for automatic promotion to the top tier.
The squad members have been training at Juegos Mediterráneos to prepare the tactics and focus on the strategy to be put into practice in a bid to outclass guests SD Ponferradina in three days, who will go all out to bounce back from a six-week winless streak that has consequently kicked them out of the play-offs zone.
After this Friday's footy practice, UD Almería will be training behind closed doors on Saturday and Sunday at Juegos Mediterraneos.
