UD Almería know that the best way to put things right is on the pitch against Rayo
The Rojiblancos continue with their preparations for Saturday's home match by training behind closed doors at the Power Horse Stadium
UD Almería have not scored a goal for four successive Match weeks and have also lost their last four LaLiga Santander fixtures. Now they are hoping to turn their fortunes on this Matchday 8 when Rayo Vallecano visit the south coast on Saturday at 2pm (Spain Time). The Rojiblancos continue with their preparations for the match, putting in the hard yards behind closed doors at the Power Horse Stadium.
This Thursday and Friday, the squad have taken part in a 1pm session, a scheduled time in a bid to get more used to the upcoming match's afternoon kick-off. The players have also worn for the first time new training gear with a slogan on the front of the T-shirts: 'En Almería, la vida te sonríe' [May life smile upon you in Almería], which has been taken from the Almeria city Tourism campaign.
The truth is that UD Almería should have achieved better results in some of the four consecutive games that they have been defeated. For this reason, the players hope that the next home fixture will bring them good luck, although they will have to put in a brave fight. At the moment, the squad feel confident as they are more than ready to bounce back this weekend.
One more football practice ahead this Friday at 1pm before getting together in the evening awaiting the arrival of strong rivals Rayo Vallecano de Madrid.
