UD Almería are hoping to be able to meet their objectives in 2024, which in relation to the first team is very complicated, but no one in the Club is going to give up. This was evident in the traditional Christmas lunch that the Club celebrated at the Power Horse Stadium with the presence of managers, workers, first-team and Academy coaching staff, collaborators and the Sports Councillor of the Almería City Council, Antonio Jesus Casimiro Andújar.
Among the guests there was also representation of the leaders of the previous management. The youngest members of the UDA Academy enjoyed sharing this meeting with the players from the first team, with whom they did not stop chatting, asking for autographs and taking photos with them.
UD Almería Managing Director and CEO Mohamed El Assy wished everyone a Merry Christmas and said that he truly hopes that reversing the situation will be possible next year so that the first team can fight for league safety and achieve the objective of staying up in the top flight of Spanish football.
First team head coach Gaizka Garitano, who stated that despite the rough patch they are going through, believes in turning things aroun as they are working hard for it. Likewise, co-captains Lucas Robertone and Fernando Martínez, who like the gaffer wished all the attendees a Merry Christmas and the best for 2024.
The turn of speeches was closed by Sports Councillor Antonio Casimiro Andújar. 'The City Council support UD Almería and we trust that in the new year the goals set at the beginning of the season can be met,' he said.
