UD Almeria Genuine to be presented at half-time during match vs Burgos CF
The team promoted by the UD Almeria Foundation begin their participation in LaLiga Genuine Santander on 13-14 November
The UD Almeria Genuine team members will be presented during the half-time in the UD Almería’s home fixture with Burgos CF this Sunday, 7 November (kick-off 6:15pm Spain Time). The team promoted by the UDA Foundation are participating in the LaLiga Foundation tournament on 13-14 November.
After more than a year without being able to organise LaLiga Genuine Santander tournament due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions imposed in Spain, the organisation has announced the 2021/22 season, whose first phase kicks off in Tarragona. As a result, the players from Almería will take on Mallorca, Málaga and Cádiz during two days with plenty of football and heaps of fun.
Regardless of whether the pandemic prevented physical activity from being carried out, LaLiga Foundation celebrated a virtual event in the 2020/21 campaign in which, in addition to several games being played from the players' homes, the 'Genuine Talent' show was held based on a talent contest with UD Almería Genuine emerging as winners with the song 'Liga de Valores' in which Rojiblanco player Dani Aguilar shared his personal experience with the choreography of Miguel Ángel López.
LaLiga Genuine Santander is a worthwhile project pioneered in the 2017/18 season with an integrative initiative of social responsibility which consists of the creation of a team competition system aimed at over 16-year-olds with intellectual disabilities.
UD Almería have participated every season so far so the Club will present the 40 talented UD Almeria Genuine players this coming Sunday prior to the exciting competition kick-off next weekend.
