UD Almería Genuine shine in second LaLiga Genuine stage
The Rojiblancos enjoyed the promotion of inclusive values and improvement in a competition with tolerance and camaraderie standing out over results at the Bahía del Rosal Sports Complex
UD Almería Genuine lived an enriching experience in Cádiz during the second stage of LaLiga Genuine, immersed in an atmosphere of sportsmanship, values and football. The UDA Foundation team participated in the Bahía del Rosal Sports complex, where the Cadista team successfully played their role as hosts in LaLiga Genuine, an inclusive competition for people with intellectual disabilities organised by LaLiga through its Foundation.
Over three exciting days, the city of Cadiz witnessed this unique competition in the world, where tolerance, respect and camaraderie stand out above merely results.
The UD Almería Genuine players exhibited a notable effort, beating their opponents in two of the three matches played. This sporting success added a special chapter to the enriching experience of the young people who make up the current team of the UD Almería Foundation. The improvement on the pitch led to a double triumph, both in sporting terms and in the consolidation of values.
After the conclusion of the matches, as is customary at each competition venue, the medal ceremony was held for all LaLiga Genuine participants. This event was chaired by various institutional representatives of LaLiga and its Foundation, as well as Cádiz CF and its Foundation, together with the participation of the Cádiz City Council.
With the closure of this second stage of the season, the 24 teams that belong to the Superación group are waiting for their opportunity to travel to the city of A Coruña. In this next chapter, RC Deportivo will be the hosts in the third stop of this exciting calendar, scheduled 15-17 March at the Abegondo Sports Complex.
