UD Almería fly back from Lisbon on Monday morning and will train in the evening

The Rojiblancos will travel by coach from Lisbon to Badajoz where they will take a flight to Almería city

UD Almería will change their return journey to the Almería city as a result of the strike by workers at the Lisbon airport, as it has already happened on the way to play the first friendly match of the 2021/22 pre-season. In this way, the arrival time will be delayed, so the footballers will only attend a training session on Monday evening.

The UD Almeria travelling squad will stay overnight in the capital city of Portugal after the summer test’s final whistle against SL Benfica. At first, the return was to be made on a charter flight to the Almería city airport. Nonetheless, the circumstances of the strike led the Indalicos to travel by road to Badajoz city where they will take the plane heading back to Almeria city.

These changes will delay UD Almeria’s arrival, so that Rubi's side will not have a morning training. The pre-season preparations continue at the training base, the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos at 7pm (Spain Time).
