UD Almería eager to leave Valladolid with a good result in their hands

The Rojiblancos are playing an all-important game in the tight race for automatic promotion to LaLiga Santander.

UD Almería are playing away to Real Valladolid CF this Saturday (KO 6:15pm CEST), a vital match in the tight race for automatic promotion to be fiercely contested at the José Zorrilla Stadium. Runners-up UD Almería and third-placed hosts Real Valladolid CF -who are only one point behind- will be locking horns in the capital city of Castile and Leon.
The Rojiblancos will go into the game ahead of their rivals and want to leave Pucela in the same situation so as to continue having their future in their own hands following a great result when it comes to their aspirations for automatic promotion to top-flight LaLiga Santander.
UD Almería need to get all three points to keep up the good work in the league; a share of spoils would keep them one point over Real Valladolid CF while a victory would place them 4 points ahead of the Castilians, something that would be relevant, although by no means deciding, the same as if the Rojiblancos left the José Zorrilla ground empty-handed.
Head coach Rubi has stated on the eve of Saturday's clash that his side is ready to clinch an away victory to take a huge step, but there will be opponents who have the same goal in mind and making things really hard on home turf
The league appointment is 'a great game', as the head coaches of both outfits agree; there is so much at stake and the two top goal scorers in the Spanish second tier are facing each other. UD Almeria have scored 55 goals whereas the players from Valladolid have netted 58 times.
Meanwhile, UD Almería are well aware of the many difficulties they will encounter in the match, but the squad members have been put through their paces in training throughout the week to be able to defeat  them and take all three points home.
The Indalicos have carried out one last behind-closed-door training session this Friday and they will be jetting into Almería city at 5:30pm (Spain Time).
