UD Almería delivers 2,000 face masks to the Local Police and Fire Brigade

The medical supplies purchased by the club are at the ready. Almeria City Council will manage 8,800 masks

Face masks, gloves and other protective gear can help stop the spread of coronavirus, in the right circumstances. The medical equipment that UD Almería acquired with the donation of 1,200,000 euros made by the club's president and owner, Turki Al-Sheikh, is at the ready and it is to be distributed right away. Obtaining this protective equipment has not been easy at all considering that the material has been purchased not only in Spain, but also in other countries such as China, Germany and Turkey.

Police officers and firefighters were issued face masks to avoid transmission during the coronavirus outbreak. The Rojiblanco club has delivered 2,000 face masks to the Local Police and Fire Brigade in our city. The remaining 8,800 face masks are to be given to Almeria City Council so that they can be distributed amongst essential services professionals at the earliest opportunity.
