Goalkeeper Fernando; midfielder César de la Hoz, winger José Carlos Lazo and forward Juan Villar have been appointed UD Almeria captains as head coach Rubi has communicated during the press conference prior to the home match against Real Oviedo.
There will be a fifth co-captain, but his name will be known when the summer transfer window ends depending on the player or players who may join and those who remain in the team.
Rubi pointed out that the Club captain who is going to lead the team will be keeper Fernando, although it has been decided that an outfield player will be the skipper who should wear the team’s armband during the official games.
