UD Almería celebrate promotion on the pitch with jubilant fans
President and owner Turki Alalshikh, the players and coaching staff belt out chants with the fans for about an hour
As soon as the match was over in Leganés city, the members of UD Almería could not contain their emotions after making it to the top-flight LaLiga Santander and began to celebrate their long-awaited promotion on the pitch. They did it together with the jubilant fans, who remained in the stands, having exemplary behavior and without stopping cheering at any time.
The owner and president of the Club, Turki Alalshikh, was also present on the field, standing in front of the ecstatic fans in each of the chants that they were belting out.
The footballers and coaching staff spent nearly an hour experiencing this great moment with the travelling fans who headed to the Butarque Stadium to live a day that is already recorded in the history of UD Almería.
During that time, the official anthem was sung from the stands while head coach Rubi and Managing director Mohamed el Assy were lifted up in the air.
