UD Almería begin long training week ahead of Monday's test in Valladolid

The Rojiblancos are back to training at the Power Horse Stadium. They will take to the Anexo ground for fitness and ball work

UD Almería are back to training after having Sunday off. The football practice has been held at the Power Horse Stadium. The Rojiblancos have a long training week ahead of them since the next game against rivals Real Valladolid CF will not be played until next Monday, 5 September (KO 9pm Spain Time/ Matchday 4).

Five more training sessions will be conducted to prepare this new stern test with a midweek day off on Thursday. This Tuesday and Wednesday, UD Almería will be following Rubi's instructions at the Anexo training base from 10 am. The Power Horse Stadium will host Friday, Saturday and Sunday's practices behind closed doors. The UD Almería travelling squad will be jetting into Valladolid on a charter flight on Monday morning.

Head coach Rubi had a pep talk with his players before getting the first training session of the week underway. Then, there was a work-outs circuit prepared before ball work with technical and tactical drills. Plays of attack and defence wrapped up the preparation with most of the starters from last Saturday's home match involved in an active recovery session.
