UD Almería back to training with sights set on away assignment in Elche

The players were given Tuesday off after Monday's active recovery session. Thursday, behind-closed-doors football practice

UD Almería trained this Wednesday on the Anexo training base next to the Power Horse Stadium after having Tuesday off to rest their minds and bodies. It was a practice based on circuit training with the ball and then they focused on different aspects of the game, highlighting the play finishing.

Head coach Rubi has counted with all the players on the squad except for Juanjo Nieto and Iván Martos who continue with their recovery processes on the sidelines. UD Almería will prepare during the week for the next LaLiga fixture against Elche CF, who lost 3-0 to Betis on the opening game played at the Benito Villamarín Stadium, although Elche CF were down to 10 men early on, which obviously influenced on the development of the match.

The Rojiblancos have four more training sessions ahead of them to prepare for the next assignment at the Martinez Valero Stadium. Thursday's practice will be held behind closed doors.
