UD Almería back to training at the Power Horse Stadium
Luka Romero is training normally, Koné is now integrated into the group and Léo Baptistão exercises on the sidelines on the pitch of Power Horse Stadium
UD Almería are back to training after two days of rest following the match played last Friday in Vigo as they begin to prepare the match that will take on Sevilla FC next Monday, 11th March at Power Horse Stadium. In this same stage, the Rojiblancos trained this Tuesday evening, to start a long, very long week.
One of the highlights has been Luka Romero training normally after of the hard blow he received at the Abanca Balaídos stadium when he was accidentally kicked with the studs of the boot from his team-mate Marc Pubill. The Argentinean still has a bruise that does not prevent him from training at the same pace as his peers.
Koné, who last week began part of the training with the group, is practically integrated into it. The Malian striker was seriously injured last October playing with his country's national team and he had to undergo surgery. He will be given the all clear shortly, although he still has to get match fit to be able to compete.
On the other hand, Léo Baptistão, who suffered a sprained ankle in Vigo, has done some ball work with Cid Andrade, coordinator of the UD Almería physiotherapists. His availability will depend on how he progresses during the week. There are still days ahead.
Luis Suárez is the only footballer who has stayed in the medical room. The squad has four more training sessions (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) to prepare themselves for the match against Sevilla FC and try to achieve the first victory of the season.
On Friday, the Rojiblancos will take a break with while on Monday, on the day of the next fixture, there will be a pre-match warm up before the team get together.
