UD Almería back to the grind at the training base

The Rojiblancos are preparing for Sunday's game at the Benito Villamarín Stadium. This Thursday, behind-closed-door session at the Power Horse Stadium

UD Almería are back to the grind after two days off and the second victory of the season achieved against Rayo Vallecano since head coach Pepe Mel's arrival. The squad have returned to the training base with enthusiasm and ready to finish in the best way possible, as the gaffer and the players have been stating.

In this Wednesday's session, this energy has been demonstrated by the intensity and attitude of all the players who have participated in the training. Only the Serbian central defender Radovanović, who is still recovering from his muscle injury, has been on the sidelines, while Marcos Peña, immersed in the Spain U19 squad get-together, has not been present in this first day of training of the week.

For next Sunday's meeting at the Benito Villamarín Stadium, Mr Mel can count on Robertone and Jonathan Viera, who have served their game bans; although on the contrary, Radovanović as well as Ramazani, who will serve the third of the five-game suspension and César Montes, who in Vallecas saw his fifth yellow card of the season, will be ruled out.

The squad will train this Thursday, behind closed doors, at the Power Horse Stadium where they will also meet again for more drills and tactics on Saturday, while on Friday, the practice will be delivered at the Anexo training pitch.
