UD Almería 'B' win the Nueva Carteya Bicentennial trophy

They beat Córdoba 'B' in the penalty shoot-out. New signing Wellington Tim debuted as a Rojiblanco.

UD Almería 'B' continue with their pre-season preparations for the forthcoming campaign. They managed to win the Bicentennial Trophy of Nueva Carteya after beating Córdoba 'B' in the penalty shoot-out. It was all level after 90 minutes so the youngsters had to take penalty kicks to clinch a victory.

UD Almería 'B' head coach Oscar Fernández picked out a Starting XI with Obón, Pedro, Álex Mendes, Wellington Tim, Cuenca, Andrei, Kevin, Gilbert, Rafa Núñez, Bian and Marciano starting. Brazilian central defender Wellington Tim, who has just moved from Criciúma Esporte Clube, is the newest addition to the UD Almería 'B' squad. He made his debut as a Rojiblanco in Córdoba city and will reinforce the defensive line throughout the next season.

The youthful Rojiblancos continue to play pre-season friendlies on 23 August when they will be taking on CD Cieza from 7,30pm (CEST). Then, the travelling squad will go on a trip to the coast of Granada where the lads will play the Almuñécar Cup 2022 completing their participation on 31 August against Atlético Pulpileño.
