UD Almería 'B' will battle it out against Real Jaén for a place in play-off final
The UDA Academy Rojiblancos, after beating Atlético Malagueño and the Jienenses, after beating UD Torre del Mar, will face each other in the next match of the promotion to Segunda RFEF
UD Almería 'B' and Real Jaén will face each other in the play-off semifinals for promotion to Segunda RFEF in search of a place for the final, where a team from the other 17 groups that make up the Tercera RFEF tier will await.
The match will be played at the Power Horse Stadium on the weekend of 1-2 June, with a specific date and kick-off time yet to be defined. The second leg will be held in Jaén after having finished the season ahead of the Rojiblancos in the standings.
Real Jaén finished the regular season in second position, a veteran and historic team that was fighting for automatic promotion until practically the last Matchday and that now reaches this semifinal after beating UD Torre del Mar.
Alberto Lasarte's side will not have an easy time, as in the two matches they have faced the Jaén outfit in the regular season they have not managed to beat them: 1-1 away from home and 0-1 in Almería. However, the Rojiblancos came with very similar numbers to this tie against Atlético Malagueño and in the end they managed to advance to the next round. Let's hope it happens again. Almería or Jaén, Jaén or Almería, one of the two will make it to the final where a place in Segunda RFEF will be sought.
