UD Almería 'B' ready to go all out for a win

The promotion-chasing UDA Academy youth side hopefuls face Real Jaén CF this Saturday with a 2-2 score recorded in the first leg that requires them to win in regulation time or extra time to seal passage to the next round

The stage where the semi-final for promotion to Segunda RFEF will be decided says it all since promotion-chasing UD Almería 'B' visit La Victoria this for a 7pm kick-off to face Real Jaén CF in the second leg with the result from  the first leg being 2-2. The UDA Academy prospects will have to beat their rivals to reach the final. It would serve both in the full ninety minutes and in the additional extra time, since we remember that there will be no penalty shoot-out in the event of a tie and that this would be worth it to the Jaén outfit.

In the play-offs first round, neither side knocked out the other. UD Almería 'B' had the initiative in the attacks but found a reply on the two chances in which they slotted themselves in front. Both Real Jaén CF and UD Almería 'B' feel like candidates to pass this difficult test, recognising that the other also has their options. As always, 'details' will be the player that makes the differences.

Mr Lasarte and his boys are prepared to remove the numerous stones along the path. Real Jaén CF will have theirs. There is no news in the Indálicos' box and everyone is available. Cold war is expected. Threat and respect. Both outfits are well aware that once the scoreboard opens, hostilities will break out, as it happened at the Power Horse Stadium. In a tie without a net, like this one, it is advisable to calibrate the risk well and assume it at the right moment. Only 7 days have passed since that first leg where it was proven that each team has their weapons to cause damage and that both know how to make it.

Beyond the game plan, it remains to be seen the specific weight that the match props will have, since the La Victoria Stadium will present a rocking atmosphere that the two teams will also have to handle. In this aspect, UD Almería 'B' do not have to demonstrate anything that it has not previously displayed in similar stages. The timing of the tie will only run against the Academy Rojiblancos in the event of extra time where Real Jaén have earned the right to speculate with the home advantage, but it remains to be seen if that additional time will be played.

History defined the game between Adolf Andersen and Lionel Kieseritzky in London as the Immortal Game. The so-called Fight of the Century pitted Muhammad Alí against Frazier in 1971. This Saturday, 8th June, Real Jaén CF and UD Almería 'B' resume the battle where they left it with a place for the final for promotion at stake. The encounter can be followed live on the official Twitch channel of UD Almería starting at 7pm this Saturday.
