UD Almería and Turki Alalshikh make a generous donation to the Food Bank
The aid consists of the delivery of food that will reach out to 700 families in Almeria this Christmas
UD Almería, through this charitable initiative launched by the club owner and president Turki Alalshikh, has made a donation to the Almería Food Bank consisting of providing 700 Almería families lots of food that will reach out to about 4,000 people. They are essential and Christmas products, now that we are about to celebrate Christmas.
Mostafa Yilmaz, UD Almeria Operations Director, and Lorena García, president of the club's Foundation, delivered this donation to the Food Bank. Its president, Juan Azorín Maya, warmly thanked this charitable donation, underlining that ‘this help is of great generosity and I sincerely hope that Almería will be rewarded with promotion to the top flight.’
Lorena García also expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Turki Alalshikh, who continues to foster solidarity with the city of Almería, and at the same time, she praised the excellent work carried out by the Food Bank.
