UD Almería and Juan Villar reach agreement to terminate his contract

The Huelva-born striker, whose contract wa due to expire in one year, will no longer be a Rojiblanco

UD Almería and Juan Villar have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract that was due to expire next season so the Huelva-born players will no longer be a Rojiblanco as well as central defender Daniel Carriço and left-back Jonathan Silva.

Juan Villar arrived at UD Almería in the 2020/21 campaign from CA Osasuna. He played a total of 32 games in his first term as a Rojiblanco; 25 LaLiga SmartBank games, 2 play-off matches and 5 Spanish Cup encounters. The 34-year-old footballer played 14 games, 12 in the regular championship, achieving promotion to the top flight and 2 Copa del Rey matches throughout the last 2021/22 season.
