UD Almería aim high as they begin preparations for game against Real Sociedad ‘B’

Curro and Robles are back to collective training while Rodrigo Ely, Pozo and Ramazani remain on the sidelines

UD Almería have been training on the Anexo training ground after having two days off. The players are now focused on their visit to Real Sociedad ‘B’ as they have to play a match of great importance for their aspirations, but at the same time very demanding and complicated by the situation of their next opponents from San Sebastian.

The Rojiblancos who are in pole position with a two-point advantage over SD Eibar and four ahead of Real Valladolid CF, know that they can reach their goal if they win at the Reale Arena, albeit they are fully aware of the difficulties of Friday’s match. In fact, the Real Sociedad ‘B’ team have won their last three games (including the one against Real Valladolid CF in Pucela) and have placed themselves only two points away from survival, which is ensured by Málaga CF and Sporting de Gijon, so the victory could take them out of relegation.

UD Almería only think about winning this match and are now preparing themselves for it. Curro and Robles, who was absent against SD Amorebieta, are back in training without any problems. On the contrary, Pozo, who has the flu, has not taken exercise; neither Rodrigo Ely nor Ramazani, players who had to come off the pitch injured last Saturday. Both are involved in their recovery towards match fitness. The centre-back, who has been receiving physiotherapy treatment, could rejoin the group shortly; The attacker is awaiting the results of the medical tests he has undergone.

The squad will be training behind closed doors this Wednesday at the Juegos Mediterráneos, where they will have a morning practice on Thursday before travelling to San Sebastián in the afternoon.
