Time to rest, time to replenish

The Indalicos trained at the training base before taking two days off. Back to training on Thursday. Eguaras will not feature in the next game

UD Almería returned to training this Monday after Sunday's active recovery workout, and now they will take a breather with two days off before the return to league action in the tight race for automatic promotion to LaLiga Santander.

The week is going to be long, very long, for the Rojiblancos since they will not play their next fixture until Monday, 25th April, when they host Sporting de Gijón at the Juegos Mediterráneos for a 9pm kick-off (CEST). The game will be televised live on Spanish TV channel Gol.

The fact of having a whole week ahead of them has enabled them to take advantage of this Monday's practice so that some footballers were provided with some tailored training exercises with the likes of Sadiq or Fernando. All the others exercised at the Anexo training base, including Chumi, who is doing really well as he continues with his journey back to full fitness.

Eguaras, who was shown his fifth yellow card in Valladolid, will not feature in the next home fixture as well as Chumi and injured Juanjo Nieto, Iván Martos who are on long-term recoveries after surgeries. Dyego Sousa, with some discomfort, is still doubtful.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be days off for the squad. Back to training at the Anexo training ground on Thursday (10:30 am CEST). Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be behind-closed-doors training sessions.
