The UD Almería girls on a long trip to Plasencia city
The Rojiblancas visit CP San Miguel this Sunday for 12:30pm kick-off at the Daniel García Mauricio field
UD Almería Women are making a long trip to the Extremadura-based city Plasencia as the girls are playing away from home this Sunday against CP San Miguel, a team that they know really well since they had to lock horns with them on the last Matchday of the 2020/21 season when the next hosts were embroiled in a relegation battle.
The fact that the girls from CP San Miguel are at the bottom of the table in the second-to-last position means that the game will be a tough one. As it is obvious, the hosts will go all out for a win in a bid to avoid the drop. The UD Almeria Women travelling squad set off on the road this Saturday and one of the difficulties that the Indalicas will encounter is the Daniel Garcia Mauricio reduced-sized pitch.
Almeria Women enjoyed another victory on the last Matchday against Extremadura Women (3-1), and thus putting an end to a two-game winless streak. The girls from Andalusia want to stay on track and remain at the top of the table, taking advantage of losses experienced by several direct rivals. Head coach Álvaro García Burdalo will not reveal the squad list yet, so the Starting XI contenders will be known just before the kick-off.
