The Rojiblancos are now gearing up for crunch game
The squad trained right after touchdown in Almeria and they will do it again at Juegos Mediterraneos on Friday
The Rojiblancos got back on the ball as soon as they arrived from Gerona. In fact, the UD Almeria travelling squad landed in Almeria at noon and headed right after to the Juegos Mediterraneos stadium to recover physically and mentally after the play-off semi-final first-leg.
The moment of truth is here and the players are now gearing up for the second-leg. They will have to pull of the heroic and recover from a 3-0 first-leg loss by not forgetting their motto: ‘Almería never gives up’.
Head coach Rubí talked to his players first. Then, some of them needed some physio while others were working out at the gym. The rest of the group trained on the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium pitch, where the team will meet again this Friday afternoon to focus on tactics and strategy ahead of Saturday’s crunch game.
