The Power Horse Stadium to host Spain U21 vs Belgium U21

The Power Horse Stadium is preparing to be the stage of an exciting European encounter between Spain U21 and Belgium U21 to qualify for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship that will be held in Slovakia in 2025. The match will be played on Tuesday, 26th March with its kick-off yet to be confirmed. The Spanish young talents return to Almería to play their third game in the Andalusian city. The last of them was very recent since the friendly played against Switzerland U21 took place in March 2023.
Spain U21 is in Group B along with Scotland U21, Belgium U21, Hungary U21, Kazakhstan U21 and Malta U21, with the Spaniards taking first place with 13 points, followed by Scotland and Belgium, both level on points (10).
Spain U21 were runners-up in Europe in 2023 following 4 wins, yet their last match against the Belgian squad ended in a 1-1 draw. This game to be held next Tuesday, 26th March will be Matchday 6 of 10 and a vital encounter for Santi Denia's boys to qualify fir the European tournament since only the first in each group will secure a Euro U21 stab. The other six runners-up will have to compete in a play-off in November.
This match will be possible thanks to UD Almería and the collaboration between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Royal Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF) along with the Regional government of Junta de Andalucía, the Provincial Council of Almería, the Almería City Council.
There will be an international break on the previous weekend. UD Almería will play away from home on 17th March against UD Las Palmas and will be back in the building on 31st March to play their match against CA Osasuna.
