The Mayor of Almería wishes the best of luck and encourages the team in the new season

Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, Mayor of Almería, visited along with the Sports Councillor, Juanjo Segura, the first-team players during their football practice, at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium with the firm intention to wish them all the best of luck and also strongly encourage the team in the new season, which have just kicked off.

Both the Mayor and the person in charge of the City Council’s sports sector were officially welcomed at the Mediterraneo by the club director general, Mohamed El Assy. Soon after, they greeted the Portuguese head coach, José Gomes, and held a short meeting on the stadium’s lawn.

Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, who confessed that he is an ardent supporter of UD Almería, approached the new players and coaches to warmly welcome them to our city, and at the same time, show them all his loyal, enthusiastic support for the new 2020/21 season. The Mayor informed them that the whole city is by their side and took the chance to strongly encourage them to do their very to celebrate a great sporting achievement at the end of the current campaign.
