The match against Cartagena moves from Tuesday to Wednesday

A decision made by the RFEF Competition Judge does not allow to play on the 20th Oct; the meeting has been postponed to 21st Oct, at 9:30 p.m. CEST, at Juegos Mediterraneos

The Almería vs Cartagena match, scheduled for Tuesday, 20th October, corresponding to Matchday 7 of the second-tier championship, is finally going to be played on Wednesday, 21st October, at 9,30 p.m. CEST. La Liga has rescheduled the fixture after a resolution adopted by the RFEF (Spanish Competition Federation) Competition Judge, who does not allow the game to be played on the initial date, considering that weekday matches have to take place either on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

As it stands, the three matches set for next Tuesday, such as Fuenlabrada vs Logroñés, Las Palmas vs Castellón and Almería vs Cartagena have been rescheduled by La Liga.

The Rojiblancos will have one more day prior to taking on neighbouring side Cartagena after the meeting on the island against Las Palmas, yet the change involves having to modify some plans that were already agreed such as the dates of the Covid PCR tests before matches, the return flight time from the Canary Islands, training sessions, disinfection of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium’s facilities and so on.
