‘The Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium’s new lighting meets the requirements of the relevant UEFA illuminance level’

This statement is assured by Andled Energy, the company that have carried out the project and the manufacture of the projectors.

The UD Almería continue to lay emphasis on sports, institutional and infrastructure quality levels. On Thursday, the match will have something unprecedented in the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium that other stadiums of the league have not had yet. This is stated by Roberto Moreno, one of those responsible for Andled Energy, the company that is running this 'revolution'. ‘A lighting system is going to be set up for a 4K television broadcast. Right now, it is a large engineering job consisting of 356 projectors that are going to be installed so that not only the main camera can broadcast in 4K but all those that are installed in the stadium can broadcast with this quality’, explains in an interview granted to UDA Radio.

‘The UD Almeria’s stadium meets a very high level of lighting requirement. There are few Clubs in the Spanish League that have the same lighting as the Almeria’s football stadium. Moreover, some stadiums have a specific feature that enables better colour reproduction both in the stadium and on television; although Almeria will be the first one with the capability to broadcast high-quality Ultra HD 4K’, explained UDA Radio. Roberto Moreno says that ‘it is not only a suitable lighting for First Division stadiums but it also complies with the requirements of a higher UEFA illuminance level to allow for future development’.

As mentioned above, the dazzling display will be showcased in the next home game: ‘We are already testing the system and we are even seeing the possibility of having the light show that, in theory was not planned for this fixture. In any case, we are doing our best to show off capabilities of new stadium’s lights’, says Roberto Moreno.
