The competition committee removes the yellow card from Aguza in the play of the disallowed goal
UD Almería appealed and both the midfielder and Jonathan Silva are allowed to travel to Zaragoza
The competition committee of the Spanish Football Federation has removed the yellow card that Sergio Aguza was awarded in the play of the disallowed goal from Juan Muñoz in the home game against Las Palmas. It just goes to show that the Rojiblanco midfielder did not commit any foul that the referee argues for the equaliser.
The club’s sports administration area has appealed this booking, as well as that of Jonathan Silva, and has made its appeal prosper with the video evidence provided. In this way, both players can be named in the next starting eleven on Saturday.
It is really significant that the competition committee did not endorse the referee's arguments to disallow the aforementioned goal from Juan Muñoz.
