The Club's medical services reinforce their training
The doctors and the physiotherapists of the UD Almería first team and the UDA Academy participate in a MSK ultrasound course applied to sports injuries that has been developed at the Power Horse Stadium
The sixth and final break of the 2023/24 season in LaLiga EA Sports, which took place last weekend week due to the Spanish Cup final, was taken advantage of by the first team players to have two days off; on Saturday and Sunday before getting back into the office this Monday. For the Club's medical services there was no break and they participate in their own initiative to reinforce the training and knowledge of all its members in order to improve and enhance the work they do with the different UD Almería teams. In short, get up to date in the latest advances in the field.
Both the doctors and physiotherapists of UD Almería participated during the weekend in an MSK ultrasound course applied to sports injuries that was taught by Dr Ana de Groot, from the MupTherapy Group.
The activity, which took place last Friday afternoon and Saturday, took place in the Power Horse Stadium facilities. MSK ultrasound allows to objectively observe and detect problems in an image of the muscle, joint or tendon and makes it possible for the treatment applied to be one hundred percent reliable.
Furthermore, thanks to musculoskeletal ultrasound, it is possible to know exactly the location of the injury. On the other hand, with this system it is possible to follow the recovery processes and whether the treatment is working correctly.
