TCI GECOMP is the new sponsor of Almería Women

The engineering and construction company supports the UDA Foundation projects

TCI has signed a sponsorship deal with the red and white Foundation in order to bet on its women’s football team, UDA Almeria Women, who compete in Group IV of the First Women's National Football Division.

From now on, the players will wear the TCI logo on the front of their shirts. In fact, last weekend they jumped onto the pitch with their new kits in the game against Extremadura UD in Almendralejo.

TCI GECOMP is an engineering company based in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Peru. It was founded in Almeria, although most of its activity has been developed in South America. The basis of TCI is the experience of engineering companies, installation companies with specialisation in electrical energy (high and low voltage), automation of industrial processes, air conditioning and high specialisation in construction of renewable energy facilities.

Francisco Mario Gómez Rodríguez, the TCI GECOMP Chief executive officer, stated that ‘we want to do our bit and contribute to Almeria society, supporting sport, especially, women's sport. The CEO added that ‘we are firm defenders of equality; that is why it is very important to us that women's sport is growing, and there is no better way to contribute than to do so in the Almeria Women’s team, as well as to express our intention to give Almeria something in return. We do not forget our roots and we are very proud of where we come from.’
